Rocky Mountain Rags was founded at the base of Pikes Peak in 2010 by two active Moms passionate about getting and keeping their families active and healthy.  

In a society with growing numbers of obese children and the erosion of family based activities, we wanted to share a piece of our Colorado lifestyle on a broader stage.

A key ingredient of getting our children to bike, hike and run with us in the mountains and around town was helping them have fun and be comfortable during the activity.  Apparel is critical in maintaining comfort, protection and fun when cycling so we asked, "What do active kids wear"?

We answered this question by developing high tech, comfortable and fun kids cycle clothing for our children.  We had the perfect garment test team at our disposal…for free!

RMR has now expanded to share these high quality original designs on a global basis.  Each design is a Colorado original and created to give you a little piece of that "Colorado Outdoor Lifestyle" in every garment they produce.  With a focus on quality, durability and unique products, each "Rag" is built to last and guaranteed to put a smile on the face of every child wearing RMR cycling apparel.  These "Rags" capture the spirit of our message…Rocky Mountain Rags, What Active Kids Wear!
